Lafayette - Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for Frances Nicole “Nikki” Celestine, 40, who died Monday, July 23, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.

Interment will be St. Benedict de Moor Cemetery in Duson, LA.

She is survived by her husband, Leroy Portalis, Jr. of Rayne, LA; daughter, Sasha Celestine of Lafayette, LA; son, Tre Celestine of Lafayette, LA; mother, Alice Celestine of Lafayette, LA; father, Joseph F. Celestine, Sr. of Lafayette, LA; maternal grandmother, Verna M. Williams of Lafayette, LA; sisters, Shannon Celestine and Candace Celestine of Lafayette, LA; brothers, Joseph F. Celestine, Jr. (Crystal), Jeremy Celestine (Scarla), all of Lafayette, LA, Taurean Broussard (Amanda) of Fort Worth, TX; aunt, Loraline Victor; four nephews, three nieces and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Gus Williams and paternal grandmother, Gladys Celestine.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Syrie Funeral Home from 7:00 a.m. until time of service.

A rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m.
