Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held Friday, July 27, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church for Allen Potier, Jr., born January 12, 1957 and died July 20, 2012.

Interment will be in the church cemetery. Allen loved to cook and help others. Allen was a consistent volunteer at Progressive Baptist Church.

Allen is survived by his mother Mable M. Potier; sisters, Joyce (Linton) Joseph, Jeannie Calais, Mary T. Potier, and Brenda (Chester) Potier; brothers Carroll (Shirley) Potier, Harold (Barbara) Potier, Dennis (Priscilla) Potier, Milton Potier, Richard Potier, and Lawrence (Claudette) Potier, Sr. and a host of nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Allen Potier, Sr.; a special friend Patricia A. Ingram, two sisters, Betty Bonhomme and Beverly Potier; three brothers, Leroy, Jimmie and Jerry Potier and brother-in-law, Herman Calais, Sr.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 27, 2012 at Bethlehem Baptist Church from 7 a.m. until time of service.
