Broussard – Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 30, 2012 at an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Marie Gloria Decuir, 64, who passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.

Father Arockiam, SVD will be the Celebrant of the funeral mass.

Interment will be in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery.

She is survived by one son, Patrick J. Decuir of Broussard; one daughter, Jermela (Gregory) Haynes of Carencro; one granddaughter, Abigail Renee of Carencro; one sister, Delores Sias of Broussard.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Ethel Decuir; three sisters, Dorothy Decuir, Ethel Mae Anderson, Rosella Decuir; one brother, Arthur Decuir, Jr.; three nephews, Edward Helaire, Joseph Decuir, Joseph Leo Sias III; two nieces, Sandra Anderson, Veronica Damond.

The family extends a special thanks to Dr. J. Mwatibo and Staff; Dr. J. Belgodere; Dr. A. Gupta; Dr. R. Fei; Gilbert Fontenette, ANP-C; Monica Hebert and Synergy Home Health and OLOL ICU staff for the extraordinary care and compassion given to our mother.

Pallbearers will be Harold Anderson III, Shelby Batiste, Courtney Flugence, Terry Flugence, Walter Flugence and Lamar Williams Sr.

The family request that visitation be observed Saturday, June 30, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church from 7:00 a.m. until time of service.
