Lafayette - Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 12 Noon at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church for De’Borah D. Celestine, 53, who died August 11, 2012 at her residence following a brief illness.

Services will be conducted by Fr. Keith LaBauve. Interment will be in Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery.

She is survived by her children, Chemeka(Kyle) Thornton; LaToya Leon, Kallan Celestine and Calvin Celestine III; grandchildren, Kyeran, Kyle and Kynedi Thornton, Destinee George; siblings, Iris Celestine Broussard, Tyrus (Alexander) Celestine, Vittorio 9jacqueline) Celestine, Franzella (Gilbert) Williams, Oliver Celestine III, Shelton Celestine, Thaddeus (Denise) Celestine; one dear aunt, Joyce H. Patterson and a host of nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and special friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Jessie Mae Ledet Celestine; father, Calvin Celestine, Sr.; brother, Calvin Celestine, Jr.; paternal grandparents, Irene Fils Hebert, Oliver Celestine, Jr.; maternal grandmother, Olivia Goodie Ledet.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 17, 2012 at Syrie Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
