Lafayette – Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 12 Noon at Refuge Temple Ministries for Juanita Ann Smith.

On July 30, 2012 our beloved mother, Juanita Ann Smith departed this world at 58 years of age. Momma was born in Abbeville, LA to the late Alta Smith, Sr. and Blanche Joiner Smith. Juanita was a member of Refuge Temple Ministries for 14 years. She was a cook with the Abbeville Headstart Program 14 years, where she advanced to head cook. Ms. Juanita worked at the Fruit of the Loom plant until it closed. She also worked at Wal-Mart for a number of years until becoming disabled. Many remember our mom as a great cook and hard worker, but she is tenderly remembered for loving her kids, LaRhonda, Chad and Bradley and by keeping connected to family and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Refuge Temple Ministries, 2631 Louisiana Ave, Lafayette, La 70501 from 9 a.m. until time of service.
