Lafayette - Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Little Refuge Church, 411 Dorothy St. for Mary Jones Alexander, 86, who died July 3, 2012 at Amelia Manor Nursing Home.

Services will be conducted by District Elder James Vallier.

Interment will be in Gethsemane Gardens.

She is survived by one son, Harry Alexander, six grandsons, Harry Stevens Jr., Henry Simpson Jr., Victor Simpson, Micheal Simpson, Leroy Simpson, and Elton Spell, three granddaughters, Henrietta Simpson, Fredericka Stevens and Tina Ford.

She was preceded in death by her son, Henry Simpson and husband Frank Alexander.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 13, 2012 at Syrie Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
