Lafayette - Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for Margaret Batiste ( St. Julien), 81, who died June 15, 2012 at Lafayette General Medical Center.

Services will be conducted by Fr. Thomas James, SVD.

Interment will be in Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery.

She is survived by one son, Larry St. Julien; three daughters, Catherine “Cat” St. Julien Wright (Mark), Nancy St. Julien Knight (Ricky), Aline Benoit; five grandchildren, Ebony Edwards, Kaysha Knight, Krystal Knight, Desiree Benoit and David Benoit, Jr.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alcee and Pauline Jean Batiste; six brothers and five sisters.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Syrie Funeral Home from 7 a.m. until time of service.

A rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m.
