Lafayette - Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Syrie Funeral Home for Lorita Broussard, 92, who died June 10, 2012 at Magnolia Estates.

Services will be conducted by Bishop Jarvis J. Harmon.

Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

She is survived by her six sons, Bradley Borel of San Francisco, CA, Levy Broussard of Dallas, TX, Daniel Broussard, Willie Broussard, Jr., Wilfred Broussard and Lester Broussard, all of Lafayette; two daughters, Mary Elzina Allen, Linda Washington, both of Lafayette; a granddaughter she raised, Michelle Broussard; one sister, Lorena Senegal of Houston, TX; seventeen grandchildren; thirty-one great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Broussard, Sr.; her grandson, Myles Broussard; her parents, Sostan Mitchell and Alzina Landry Mitchell; her brothers, John Mitchell, Clifton Mitchell Sr., Paul Mitchell, Dennis Mitchell; her sisters, Mable Dugas, Rosa Mae McZeal, Florence Pomier .

Visitation will be held Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Syrie Funeral Home from 7 a.m. until time of service.
